New Wolf Pup Mods

Our Wolf Pup needed some immediate modifications to make life easier. I still have more but here is what I started with.
It did not have TV mounting location on the inside. The obvious location is on the end of the cabinet near the entrance door. Power and cable are run next to the door. The edge of the cabinet is only 1/4" plywood so I added a 1x6 vertically and two horizontal. The "framing" of the cabinet is 1x1 so by adding the 1xsupport it put me flush with the framing. The horizontal 1x6s basically sandwich the vertical 1x6 between the plywood and cabinet framing. I then through bolted the tv bracket onto my support structure.
Also, since our TT doesn't have drawers to store the utensils (we never noticed until the PDI walk through, DOH), I had pockets made to hang on the cabinet doors. I asked a friend to make them using an extra pillow sham. She suggested putting card board in the middle to resist sagging. It was a great idea that I'll appreciate for many moons to come! The smaller one is made to fit on the small cabinet door just above the furnace. It is 11" x 11" with six pockets. The larger one goes on the taller door just above that and is 11"W x 19" T(i think) It has 4 pockets to accommodate the longer cooking utensils. I used a grommet kit from walmart to create strong corner connections and hung them on the door using 1" cup hooks. I drilled a pilot hole in the cabinet doors to resist cracking the wood. The Large hanger has 1K miles on it and I just installed the small bag earlier tonight.

Like the mods. I'll have to show my wife the utensil hangers.

what size TV did you mount? I am scared that even with the 1X6 it won't be strong enough to support it while traveling. Thanks in advance for any feedback you are able to give.

It's either a 22" or 24" the mount plus the TV is pretty light. I don't have 1 1x6. I put I vertical and 2 horizontal that tie into the cabinet framing. I've got approx 1200 mies on this and so far it's holding up.

We just bought a Wolf Pup today. We got a 16 BHS

I was wondering how I was going to mount the TV.

I wanted to put ours by the door above the bed so even if someone was in the bunks or sitting at the table, they could watch it. (We have a little one). Haven't been able to get to it yet, but hopefully we can before our long trip in the fall.

I will be picking up a 16BHS on Saturday and noticed the lack of storage access as well under the dinette seats as well. I like your mod. Now I can show my wife that it has been done and looks good. I like the silverware hanger. I will have to whip one of those up as well. Is it bad that with all the TV hook ups I won't be installing one? Hahaha! Sidenote, have you addressed the large cabinet to the right of the stove? I am trying to think of good ways to add good looking shelving in there.

Thanks for the kudos!
We didn't do anything fancy for the big cabinet. We put a cheapo plastic drawer system for storing games, seasonings, pot for boiling water, cutting board, etc. In the space on each side, we store the flexible cutting board, trip log book, and plastic bags. We usually hang a Walmart type plastic back for trash on the cabinet door so we keep a stash of them. The electric griddle usually rides on top of the plastic shelves. I'll post some pictures of our cabinets a little later so you can see how organize (or lack of)!
We are about to get a bigger trailer so upgrades have stopped but a corner shelf system for a shower would work great in the corner behind the toilet. My toilet paper holder broke so I'll need to fix that.
I'll probably get an upgraded shower head to use and then take it to the next trailer. We have 2 more trips planned in this one.
