I saw lots of Rv with vinyl floor in basement so I did mine over carpet. 25$ is all it costs. Came out pretty good.

Nice, my storage cubbies have vinyl but I stuck a throw rug with a grippy backing in there to keep stuff from sliding around and wearing a hole in the vinyl.
The 2x6 rugs from Costco work perfect.

I did think about that but I keep so much stuff in there nothing. can move around. If not work out I can easily take it out ALOT easier than installing it.
