No stove exhaust fan.

I purchased a 2015 WRLIkS in October. The only thing I don't Like about it is that the stove exhaust Fan does not exhaust to the outside.

Have you released the tabs that hold the flapper?

That's a small price to pay for a great floorplan. My first Wildcat had the ventless range hood too and it really wasn't that big of a deal for us.

Are you saying you have a fan, but the fan does not exhaust to the outside?

That's totally strange. My range hood has an ugly sticker on it warning about the perils of cooking without the fan (which DOES exhaust outside) and carbon monoxide build up and all sorts of terrible things.

Is your stove in an unusual place so that it can not be vented outside?

Yes, it has a charcoal filter but vents under hood to area above stove.

Maybe you would want a create-a-breeze or a Vortex fan in your living area vent.

Your 30WRLIKS stove fan does NOT exhaust outside. It's mounted to the wall that's common to the bathroom. What you have is a vent over the kitchen sink that can be opened to exhaust fumes/heat build up.
We will be ordering ours with a power vent fan already mounted in that kitchen vent. One thing nice about Forest River's bath & kitchen vent fans is they are multi-speed and have covers over them.
And BTW for those interested there's a 50 Amp with 2nd Air Conditioner prep option from Forest River for $290 MSRP. If you have A.C.- microwave and fireplace then it may be a nice option to get.
Happy trails,

I had the same problem with a Keystone Outback 301BQ that I am trading for a Sunseeker MBS. I removed the worthless range hood and installed an electric fan in the roof vent near the stove. There also is a ceiling light nearby that I fished a wire from. Of course, I had to cover up a hole for the wire that fed the hood fan. A mirror and adhesive did the job. Crack a window and the 12v ceiling fan draws out the cooking fumes really well.

I have a stove hood that doesn't vent to the outside either. I installed a Fantastic Vent nearby so I have no problem now with ventilation but I hate that useless vent being there taking up room. I'd like to remove it and come up with something else to put where it was. We rarely cook inside but when we do I would think the steam and stuff would prevent removing it.

I also purchased a 2015 30WRLIkS. It had no out side exhaust fan either. Never noticed when I bought but I'am one for fans in a unit and just by chance I had them install a Fantastic fan in the roof vent near the two kitchen lights. So guess we are ok now. Later RJD

The baking sheet idea sounds pretty good. It would prevent steam and stuff from getting to the bottom of the cabinet and would be really easy to clean.

I have a front kitchen vlite, no vent for the range hood. Given the dire warnings of death, isn't this a safety defect?
