I have a 2012 windjammer 3002w. Love it but would love to have a fireplace in it. My question is-- has anyone else ever mounted one in the cabinet under the tv in entertainment center? All help is greatly appreciated

We do not own a windjammer but what comes to my mind would be the power outlet to run the fire place if it is also a heater like the one in our georgetown xl 378

Our fire place is also a heater but has a separate power circuit. They tend to draw close to 1500 watts which is the max for most circuits.
Our unit has 2 circuits, one for the TV and the other for the fireplace.
I suppose if you keep the heater down and not up all the way it would work without maybe tripping a breaker.

Don't have a windjammer but a 2013 Flagstaff 8528BHWS. Had the dealer do it as part of the negotiations for the purchase. Took the lower shelves for books and DVDs and put the fireplace there. Had a choice of several sizes. It is great. In the summer it just gives the look of a fireplace but in the cool weather that radiant heat cannot be beat.

I don't know anything about the electronics or requirements for installation. The old man doing the service at the dealer just thought I was a crazy woman wanting this. He told me a fireplace did not belong in a camper "it wasn't fitt'in". Later after it was done he admired it and said it wasn't much work and really was "purty".

Ours has the fireplace (see below for model) LOVE IT!

As I'm sure you know, Windjammers are pretty much twins to the V-Lite.
