Outdoor Kitchen Mod

Replaced outdoor kitchen sink faucet with one from American Standard. New faucet is a pull out style to allow for filling of pots and just making the sink more versatile.

Great job! I bet that is much handier than going around to the outside shower to rinse big stuff or feet too.

Nice Job: I changed my faucet on the bath room sink to a high rise type. Is the stone work a mod also?? It looks great. Frank

Thanks for all the positive responses. This is one of the first mods I've done on my 2013 Crusader. Many more to go once the funds manager loosens the purse strings. The stone facade came with the rv.... I like it. Thinking of changing the bathroom faucet as well.

Great looking piece...should be a crime when the factory installs those $1 faucets in such a good looking outdoor kitchen.

I'm glad you explained the stone facade coming with the rv. In first looking at the photos, I said to myself that while we sometimes get off topic here, this was perhaps the first home mod I have seen here.

Not sure how I missed this one! Awesome idea and will be looking into it for this year. I hate having to take my dirty dishes inside to wash them. Where did you get the faucet and how much? Everything I see at HD and Lowes are crazy expensive!

@wagon52, found faucet at Amazon.com, American Standard 7084SF Outreach 4-Inch Centerset Faucet, Satin Nickel for around $70. It's a little more than I wanted to spend, but has been well worth the $$ spent. I just couldn't use the factory installed faucet, new one makes things a lot easier and more functional.

do you have any issues with the hose storage? Just thinking that there is not as much room under the sink on our outdoor kitchen as opposed to household.

I want to add something like this as having the sprayer would be excellent.

I have not had any major problems with the hose hanging up in the small space under the sink. Every now a again the hose will hang up on the drain pipe, but its not all the time. I was thinking of putting some sort of deflector under there so the hose doesn't get caught up at all, but to this date have not.

Our first camper (Sandpiper 355QBQ) came with a pull out faucet in the outside kitchen. The hose kept getting pinched when the slide would go in. I solved it by making a guide with a couple of zip ties. Our new camper doesn't have the pull out but has a very tall faucet in it. I really miss the one that pulls out! Good job!
