I would have to verify this but I believe the reason for the low pressure is a watter saving disc in the shower head. If you enlagre the hole in the disc the pressur should increase.

If you enlarge the holes you will get (Less) pressure but more (Volume)! Youroo!!

I am not a fan of the low pressure either. Almost seems like a joke to me.

You are correct. I choose my wording incorrectly. I do wonder however, if the shower heads actually reduce pressur b/c my new home shower head had no pressure or volume untill I removed the reducer which had a spring behind it. I now get great volume with pressure.

If it's just more pressure you are looking for, I always put a spot of super glue on about a third to half the holes on the factory installed sprayer on the outside shower. This increases the pressure significantly.
