Outside TV Cover

Got tired of covering the outside tv with a garbage bag, so I made a heavy duty cover out of material used to make military portable fuel tanks I obtained a few yrs back while working on the large 250,000 gal portable tanks in Picayune, Mississippi.

Nice idea! I dont have an outdoor TV but I am curious. Dont you worry about condensation ruining the TV?

We have had one on our back porch that is screened in for 10 yrs and it hasn't bothered it yet. The one on the side of the trailer is under the awning that is always out and with the garbage bag, there was never any condensation on the bag even tho' there was dew on the tables, etc. Was more worried about a blowing rain during the night.

Just use the rail for the BBQ grill. Made a formed steel section about 4" long that fit the rail and welded it to the tv bracket along with a 10" pc of 1/2" x 2" pc of rect. tubing and put a pc of rubberized matl on the back to prevent scratching the side of the camper.
