As others have said well worth the money. Even when dry camping it uses less water but the pressure is great.

Agreed. One of the easiest mods there is and one with lots of benefit for little cost.

The first year we owned our TT we used the standard shower head. The second year we switched to the Oxygenic Head and I am sorry that I didn't change out the first year. Well worth the money. Less water coming out of the shower head means less going into the grey tank which means not emptying as often. Or refilling the fresh tank.

Its like pinching the end of a water hose to spray harder/farther. More pressure, less water and yes, a little noise. But its the best $27 I spent on upgrade.

X2 what CSM said - ours is brushed nickel (if you go on Amazon, they have several colors to choose from).
When you install it, get a cut off valve to go in-line with the shower head hose (for those times when water conservation is a must).
Also, before installation, check all the hose fittings and REVOVE any flow limiters.
Use this fine gadget to regulate the water pressure to your rig:
Amazon.com: Valterra A01-1117VP Brass Lead-Free Adjustable Water Regulator: Automotive
And you will have a shower darn close to the one you have at home (assuming you a re not a full timer, because then you ARE at home )
Note: Most RV Manufacturers recommend 45-50PSI a lot of folks run at 55PSI, and the folks at RV-Dreams (a GREAT reference site BTW) say that "Modern" RVs can run at 60-65PSI.
We keep ours set at 55PSI and our camper shower has the same pressure as our shower at home. (Assuming the CG water pressure is>=55 PSI)

Such a huge difference that when I trade RV's, I take the Oxygenic with me and put the old one back on the traded one.

As others have send,it's worth doing...we do a lot of "dry" camping and besides the added pressure having the shut off is great!

Can't tell you.....I have never used the original. Always replaced prior to first use with an Oxygenics.

Bob, Didn't your Oxygenic not come with an inline valve? Mine did. Also why to try to take off any flow limiters? Isn't it the idea to save water with the 2 gpm shower head instead of a whimpy 3 gpm head. Mine is great the way it came out of the box.

Replaced the shower head with the Oxygenic because of the rave reviws on the forum. I must say I am disappointed, the water flow does not shut off completely with the inline shut off valve. Anybody else experienced this? We like to shut it off using the inline valve, lather up, then turn it back on to rinse off.

Iowa Born, This shutoff valve from Ace HW works VERY well when the head is in the wall Holder or in Your Hand! I find the type where the S/O valve is IN the handle a PITA to turn off when your Hands are (Wet and Soapy)! As well the Optional S/O valve does NOT shut off 100%. We take ALL our showers in the unit, going on 5 years use! Youroo!!

Of all the things I've gotten for our trailer, and there have been many, this is the only thing DH has not declared as a waste of money. You want one of these, you really do.

I thought the reason for the slow leaking valve was to keep the water temp constant during use. My old one I had would have a blast of hot water when I would restart it.

We love ours, unfortunately it didn't come with the shut-off valve so we had to add that after the fact. If you do plan to go ahead make sure your model comes with the shut-off included.

Loved there one we had on the rig we traded in. The new rig has a bronze color. May have to bite the bullet and get the white or chrome. I have not seen a bronze.

Could, depends on how your unit is Plumbed. If you Sing in the Shower, sing a Shorter Song! Thus less time for the Hot Shot of Water! We have been happy for (5) years of shower with S/O use. Youroo!!
