Pads for Level-up landing pads

Is anyone using this Automatic RV Leveling Jack Pads - RV SnapPad?
5lbs per pad and it is 1-inch high. I may try it on the front legs.

I made pads out of 3/4" exterior plywood. Cut 12" square, 2 layers screwed and glued together with a handle made with 1" webbing screwed to it. Good for stacking to reduce the stroke needed for the jacks and uneven dips on the parking "pad". They're cheap, stackable, and last a long time, even when leaving them in place all winter in Florida. I'm going on 6 years with the ones I have now. I didn't think I'd need them since I now have a LevelUp system. After a few "out of stroke" messages during leveling, I started using them again(glad I didn't give them away). No more out of stroke messages since.

Yes, I use the same set-up too. Two 2x12x12 screwed together with an eyehook to retrieve from each jack. But these jack pads stay on the pad, however they are only 1 inch thick.

They do look convenient. I'll stick with what I have tho. Works for me.

I bought a 3' x 4' 1/2 inch thick equine stall mat from Tractor Supply for $25. Cut it into 12" x 12" squares. I use two squares under each leveler foot. Helps with the "popping and creaking" with the "level up" system. Lippert obviously has no solution for their issue(s).

Not sure what you mean. How does the rubber mat help with the popping and creeking?

Just covered both sides of some plastic blocks with alum tread plate and bolted them to the pads. Works great.

I use the plastic stackables, is there a disadvantage to these or just preference & cost?

I have the Lippert 6-Point Level Up system and I don't put pads under the jacks unless the area is soft or has unlevel issues. When I do I am using 2 x 10 pieces. By Lippert's guidance it only speaks about use of pads when in soft areas.

I like the fact that these are rubber and stay on the pad... one less thing to do as I'm pushing one button to level the rig !

I deploy my wooden blocks all the time. The shorter the stroke on the jacks (especially the front) minimizes the wiggle.

I also was looking at them this morning for my 6-point system. Unsure of what I'm going to do right now. A little more research.

We currently use hosspads under our levelers - they are made of the same type of recycled material (tires) The big issue is you have to get them lined up underneath, and if you have to move or shift it's all over again. Plus, I keep trying to leave them behind at the campground when we are packing up, so it would be nice to have ones built in

I had a nice FB IM conversation with the manufacturer today - my concern is if I had 9" discs on my auto-levelers - got lots of information from them, and I'm going to measure when I'm out at my MH next and send them the photo, they said they'd check to make sure it was the right fit (we're about 90% certain it is, from some pictures I found) but since I won't be using them in the next few days, it can wait.
They ship from Indiana, and said they would give me a 10% off coupon they are going to have for the holidays.

Yes I emailed the manufacturer through their website this morning and asked about fitment for my 6 point level up and how to clean them and if they would fade to color gray and they said you would clean them up just like a regular tire and they don't think they fade... hmmm 10% ......

Don't know why it helps, but it does. It does not eliminate it all, but it helps. Better than with no pads.

Seems to work better on soft sites, ie. gravel, grass, dirt.

I just have been e-mailing with Devon Wilson V.P. of operations at rvsnappad.com who told me they have a deal with Hartland owners and said I can advise the webmaster here. Just don't know how to. He said they will discount FROG members.
