Sorry to move your post but I did not want to totally Hijack that thread.

I bought 12 inch wide baskets at Lowes (I believe) and modified them to fit the 10 1/2 inch wide opening of the pantry. The stock baskets were the right depth; just too wide.

I took bolt cutters and cut out sections from the front and back of the basket and bent them more vertical until they cleared the opening framework; then filed them smooth.

My congrats also. Reminds me - I am approaching the 1,000 post milemark and am wondering what kind of prize I get when I make the 1,000. I don't see anything in the rules.

Is it money or a paper certificate?

For our new LaCrosse 318BHS pantry, we are considering these shelves, from Lowes:

We just did the Closetmaid shelves in our hanging area where you mount the track on the back and then brackets mount to the shelves. The brackets fit perfectly without cutting and we put 2 shelves in. Worked out real good, DW is very happy, and got a deal on the shelving material since the lady cutting it messed up the first cut.

Just found these on Amazon there are many different depths and widths. Great reviews too.

Very similar looking to those ones I found at Lowes. Anxious to get my hands on our new trailer to try these out (now not sure which one).

I found some at Lowes as well and installed two. Had to modify the back end with a reciprocating saw but took only a minute. They come in very handy.

Wow, lots of great options. Ours is def a budget fix but it will work for us Am very thankful for the pantry as the kitchen would be severely lacking with out it.

Mike,

Have you happened to try these out yet? Was wondering what size the pantry cabinets were. My rig happens to be an hour away until next weekend.

Thanks.
