Peel & stick tiles @ lowes on clearance

My local lowes had the peel and stick tiles on clearance for $1.50/each! SCORE. New project when the weather breaks.

Thanks for the heads up! How many packages did you pick up? Our Lowe's has them for $1.99.

I have had poor results with peel and stick products; the last couple of projects I bought the gallon of latex adhesive and then stuck them to the adhesive which was applied to the existing wall; I would especially be conserned being in a high heat area arouund a stove

As usual.... ripped off in Canada... again.

6 sheets-$41.94CAD https://www.lowes.ca/backsplashes-wa...and-stick-tile

Home Depot- $67.99CAD https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.6...000811336.html

I was at one of the largest local RV shows last week and saw these tiles on loads of units. But when stepping closer, it was just wallpaper. Nasty.

Ain't that the truth. Almost cheaper to drive down to the US and buy them there - even with the poor exchange rate.

I ended up buying 10 locally and made contact with a store for 25 for next week. I think I got too many but at that price-I think it's worth it

I was at our local Lowes last week and wanted to check them out. They did not have any. I was told they were in the middle of switching to a different vendor.

Thats a great deal, just be careful if you live in the northern US or Canada as the cold may affect the adhesion to the wall.

Funny, this brings back memories of many years ago when I was stationed at Ft Drum (Watertown,NY). The Canadians in Ontario would fill up every suitcase they had with old clothes, pack them into the rig, and drive across the St Lawrence down I-81 to the Salmon Run Mall to go shopping. On the way back to Canada they would stop and empty all their old clothes into a dumpster at a northbound rest stop and repack the suitcases with the new clothes. They did this to avoid Canadian Duties. It was actually cheaper for them to drive down and shop in the US.

After a while the Salvation Army put collection bins at the rest stop and put much of the stuff to good use.

We bought and installed these very tiles from Lowes. They were not hard to do and really make a big difference. So glad I (DW) thought of it. Seriously, it does brighten up the area and we have not had any problems with heat or cold. I do check them from time to time but have not had any problems. They are also easier to clean! Good luck with your project.

I've checked at all the Lowe's in an almost 50 mile radius and they are all sold out Bummer. I put some of those in my TT this summer and they actually look really nice once they are up. It would have been great to get some more at such a give away price but not this time. I will check in another 6-8 weeks to see how the tile I put up last summer stayed on the walls over the winter. Last I had looked though, they were still stuck to the walls great and I live in MI.

They are probably on clearance for a reason. Sure have to watch the heat factor in the kitchen. Sue some things are cheaper in the States but gas is only 8 cents a liter in Saudi Arabia.
