Pet safe slipcovers

First trip out. We want the dogs to always go with us. With the material of the recliners and sofa, we are concerned with the furniture getting ripped with dog claw marks. Can anyone suggest any good slipcovers for the furniture? We have looked online and seen allot, but reviews all seemed to be bad. Any help is appreciated!

Dont take this wrong,I am not being a smart(*& but our dogs go everywhere with us too .One of the main goals in thier training(right after pooping in a designated are of the yard when home) is that they do not under any circumstances get on furniture or jump up on people. It would only take a week at most to train the to stay on the ground when in the camper or anywhere else for that matter, and contrary to what most people may think, old dogs "can learn new tricks ".We are actually more concerned about muddy or wet feet than scratches on the material.

We usually just throw a fitted sheet over the dinner table seats/couch.

When we are there, the dog doesn't go on the furniture and when we return he'll be on the floor but there's always evidence(dog hair) on the sheets that he decided to get comfy.
And who can blame him.....
