I know this will sound odd but I have not been able to convince the DW to spend the extra $. It would appear that she was not hot enough last summer to do it yet.......

We haven't had the house heat or AC on since early April

$1,500 does not sound bad, you will be happier with the dealer install thru the roof. Some people complain about the noise in the bedroom from the 13,500 Dometic, which I have over our bed. It is not ducted, the living area 15,000 Dometic is ducted. Good Luck! Having lived in SE Texas since January 1974, I know why you want two ACs in your RV!

$1500 isn't too bad if that includes a new A/C. That wasn't a Camping World by any chance? Have one just a few miles away.
