Power Awning Conversion

I spent some time flipping through pages of results and different searches on here, but didn't find anything about installing an aftermarket power awning to a TT. I will be picking up our new '12 Grey Wolf 28BHKS this weekend, but it is a stripped out model (no power pack option) and I want to add the keyless entry and power awning myself. Is this possible?

Thanks!

I pretty sure you could. I would download the installation instructions off the internet and read them to make the determination weather or not I had the skills and tools to install them. I would also look at an another rv to see how and where the factory mounts them to make sure I install the same size and in the same location to make sure I hit some backing with some strenght to it. Sometimes I have found it's worth every dime to let someone else do the install.

Well, I found a much simpler way to add the power awning. Buy a different camper, LOL! I went to the local dealer today for a Dodge pigtail for the P3 and found a loaded '12 27BHKS for 16,700 and decided that that was the trailer for us. It saved me a 700 mile round trip to Iowa and the extra work of adding all of the power gear. *sigh* Better change the sig now
