We have a rockwood 8316 that is a few years old. Awesome trailer except- the power tongue jack that came with it. It has to wake the dead with the noise it produces. I have tried to oil it everything. I feel bad when we pull in late or leave early am using it. It works well just noisy I really don't want to spend money on a new on however, at some point I will pull the trigger just to stop feeling bad. Question is what brand would be a nice quiet replacement. I am not at home now but I think the brand on it now days lgi or lci i believe its a lippert if memory serves correct thanks

Agreed. I had a Lippert that didn't last two months and was very lound and slow. Replaced it with a Barker and have had years of good service from it. It's not whisper-quiet, but better than the Lippert. My Barker also has a 360-degree level on top that comes in handy.

Barker! Call the company direct for the best price. I ordered one last Friday and it shipped the same day. Great customer service!
