PVC bike rack

I recently had a chance to try out a new bike rack I constructed using plans I found on line. I absolutely love it. I'm able to transport 4 bikes without issue in the bed of my truck and once at the campground it's light enough to remove from the truck and use at a bike rack at the campsite. No more yelling at the kids for leaning their bikes up against the camper.

Looks great and it will be well worth the time and expense of building it.

Pretty rad. My sister has long lamented the need for one of these. I sent her a link and if she doesn't build one this year, I know what I'm getting her for Christmas!

You can build one for 5 bikes however your going to have to alternate the bikes facing front to rear otherwise you'll bike rack will be to wide to fit in the bed of the truck.

Cost about $40.00 in materials and two hours of my time. The most time consuming part of the job was cutting all the pieces with a hack saw.

Or tie the 5th one across the top of the 4.

Here is a link to the plans I used. I looked at several plans and liked these the best as they were the most detailed of the ones I found.
