On the other hand, if a person of large size (pregnant, obese, etc.) and a normal sized person want to sit at the table, they will not be able to adjust the position of the table between them so that both can be comfortable.

Just a note here:

Be very careful about the length of screws you put into your slider floor. To long a screw will plow rifts into your carpet when retracting the slide. Install the screws with the slide out, crawl under the slide and make sure the screws are not protruding.

Don't ask me how I figured this one out.

good point radio. my table is not in my slide. my kitchen and couch are in the slide. it is a nice design because the lower cupboards and couch dont come near the floor. i have nothing touching or even near the flooring. this design will never leave slide marks on the floor.
