Quick solar

Hey folks. I have a quick question, hoping someone with some Elec experience or an EE background can calc this out for me.
I own a 2016 Palomino truck camper. (made by FR). It came ‘prewired’ for solar.
I am looking to purchase a ‘solar kit/ solar suitcase’. I think a 80w will do what I need. (A few LED’s, fan, water pump, small electronic charging)

So, the question is... my ‘pre wire kit’ is 12ga wire.
Is this sufficient for an 80w kit? The specs say it maxes around 4.6amps in full sun.
Total run from charging port to battery is about 6’

Thanks y’all!

Yes. Google "wire gauges and amperage" and you'll find some handy tables.

Be careful though I know some pre-wired campers are reverse polarity systems and will only work with their solar brand suitcases. (Zamp)

I hadn’t heard that. I did call FR and ask about that. The guy told me the solar wiring would be labeled, it’s not.
But I can check Polarity.

Thanks for the input.
