This appears to only be for ducted A/C units. I have a non-ducted unit and to my knowledge there is no viable solution yet. I did send a note to the company to see if they have something in development.

I have seen some discussions where the intake air on a non-ducted A/C was redirected to one end of the unit rather than coming in from the bottom of the A/C with some success. In this case the sound would need to change direction a couple times thus causing some reduction in loudness.

Yes that probably would work but you need the interior air into the intake. Some duct work by manufactures leaves alot to be desired in that drawing air from above the ceiling is hotter and cuts down your cooling. Many ducts are not sealed or insulated correctly.I think your nonducted unit should work fine just make sure the intake air up in the pocket is sealed well so it is not drawing from the cold side. I would put up with some noise to get good cooling.

My Rockwood cools great even here in central Fl ... watching this construction video looks like the roof duct work would be efficient moving air ...

I ordered, received and installed the kit for my Dometic a/c. I'll venture to say it quiets down the a/c by about 30 - 40%. Next camping trip will tell me if the wife likes it now. She says she can definitely tell the difference. Make sure you install the cover so it's NOT over the new filter....

Well, we are on a week long camping trip to Washington DC. Currently in a campground in So. Carolina and it is 94 degrees outside. Both a/c units are running and we can watch a movie now with the TV at normal levels. I wish I would have discovered this product earlier.
