Re-oriented dining table in 29RE

Wife and I were looking at ways to enhance our living space, and after some discussion, I removed the 4 screws that anchored the dining table and rotated it 90 degrees. This placed the long side of the table against the outside wall of the slide. We removed 2 of the chairs and put them in storage. After sliding the table against the wall, I pulled it back out slightly before replacing the screws. Then slid a short section of split pipe insulation over the edge of table. This should prevent any scuffing of the wall.
When we set up camp, the pipe insulation can easily be removed.

By any chance do you have any pictures. We have been considering the same configuration. Were there any issues with rearranging the table?

Okay,.... sorry. I like pics as well.
Because of the coming storm, I closed the camper up and pushed it back in the barn. I tried to take some pics, but they didn't come out well, because of poor light. Next time I pull it out, ( which may be Friday morn) I'll take a couple of good pics and post them.

We have a 29re also, but we switched the sofa and the recliners. That gave us a little more room for the table and chairs.

Sorry to learn of the passing of your Son in 2008. I am sure it was a blessing in disguise to have had Pepper carry on with you. Regards, Jim

Yes Jim,... breakfast, lunch, and dinner for two...except when the kids/grandkids show up, , but that's why we like the leather sofa and recliners.
