Looks nice! Just like it grew there.

Great job! Looks like it was designed for that spot.
You're really going to appreciate having that during this cooler time of year.
My wife and I have been camping in northern Michigan this week and used our fireplace a few times to knock the chill out of the TT. We will be in the U.P. for the next two weeks and I'm sure it will get used a lot.
I've said it before... If Forest River isn't following this forum, they're missing out on some great design modifications for their products.

NICE job!
One thing I would add is a 12VDC computer box fan (or two if they are small) in the panel that contains the SkyFi dock. It will add additional cooling for the ZX-700. Heat build up is the enemy of that unit.
Mounted right next to that heater "might" be a problem over time.
Just a thought...

Thanks Lou for the advice, but I am so disappointed with the functionality and sound quality of the ZX700 that I rarely use it. It's got to be the single worst component of the whole RV. I will look for a small box fan though.

Looks really nice. Do you need a special outlet for the fireplace, or can you plug one in anywhere?

Just plug and play in an existing outlet.

I am quite happy with the functionality of the ZX-700 itself. I will be upgrading the sub-woofer and speakers one day, though.
They are pretty lame. Finding a 12VDC Surround Sound system with anywhere near these features is quite a challenge. The new Genesis has HD output which I would like, but not for the upgrade cost.
