When I picked up our new trailer at the end of March, it specifically had a sticker on the back bumper saying not to add any additional weight...bikes, generators, etc. to the back bumper or it would void the warranty.

What about an under trailer tool box big enough for the generator or one that fits just behind the coupler on the V section. There are boxes made for that area as well.

Not sure it the under trailer box would void warranty.
Found these on ebay. $120 approx.

Best place is either in a storage compartment or the bed of the truck.

It would be a perfect location but you have your propane tanks and battery in that area.

I'd be worried about a fuel spill or the smell getting into the living area since most of those storage bins are on the inside of the TT.

I got a 320 rs with a bic-rack rated for 450 lbs. I mounted a Suncast box on back with Champion generator. Is working fine so far. Total weight is about 200 lbs.

But that TT was built for it(?) An RS320 is not a light weight. I have a Salem 221RBXL that I would not put the available 'back pack' option on it because it was not ordered with it. FR beefs up the area where the 'back pack' mounts to the frame. Wish I would have ordered it

The dealer will put a hitch on the back. But they want a arm and a leg for it. They priced me 832.00 so I could pull my Jon boat that weighs maybe 500 pounds. Still under warranty. And warranty the work.
