I wish you much more continued good luck. It seems very secure (and heavy).
Not all frames look as rugged as your does.

The ultralites are made of strap iron I beams not extrusions.

Removing my spare tire, spare tire bracket, grill and grill bracket using a luggage scale has a total weight of 133 lbs hanging off my bumper from the factory. Bike rack and bikes are 78 lbs which is a few pounds less than my 16" spare bumper mounted on steel rim with mounting bracket. The bike and rack weights 55 pounds less that what the come from the factory. That lot more then 50lbs that suppose to cause welds and wall to crack!!!

The physics of bikes being held out and away from the back of the trailer, are very different from where the tire and grill bracket are located.
The bouncing bikes cause a lever effect on the bumper's welds. They cause a pulling back and down from the weight.

You need to remember that the frame on a Crusader is much different than an ultra lite the OP first mentioned. It's like saying a 1/4 ton truck can pull 14k because my 1 ton can.
