recliners

I just removed the jackknife sofa from my Sunseeker 3010DS that was on the slide out, and set in 2 recliners. For now, they are not fastened to the floor, can't figure out a good way. Any ideas?

I've never seen one fastened down. Being padded, they don't get in too much trouble.

So, lets at least see a picture of your new recliners. I have some LB's picked out to replace our sofa, just hadn't purchased yet for one reason or another. I wouldn't worry about bolting / securing them down. The one's we've had in the past weren't and stayed put.

We replaced the Fac. (Barrel/swivel/rockers) with L/B recliners. The Fac.had (D-ring holddowns) installed, which we also use for the L/Bs. A word of (Caution/Concern) on the (Floors) of units with (Vinyl/luan/Styrofoam/Luan)! The small (Pads) on the bottom of the (L/Bs) will (Dent) the contact surface where they are placed! With the (Wood look Vinyl) it is hard to see,but under certain light it shows! We removed the (Stock hard small pads) and replaced with (Hardwood strips 3/8 thick x 2in wide x 20in long) radius on all sides! Just a Tip,your floor your choice? Youroo!!

Sorry, no pictures yet. Just got my first smart phone this month, and have no idea how to use it. The recliners sit on the slide out of my MH, floor of slide is about 6" high. The recliners are wall hugger models, and have no front to rear frame rails, just side to side. I am going to build a platform 6'x1'x 6" to set in front of the slide platform for the front of the chairs to sit on. Will get carpet (closest match) to cover and wrap around bottom so wood won't mark flooring.

One quick tip for using smart phone and posting pics on frf.
The picture must be taken with the phone sideways and the bottom of the phone in your right hand.
Otherwise the pictures will be upside down or sideways.
Just an fyi.

Got everything done for the recliners, now I get to use them this weekend. They are the wall recliner type, which means they slide forward on the frames. Will have to see if that is a problem while traveling. Have pictures, but grand daughter hasn't come over yet to show me how to move them from phone to computer to this site.

We just replaced our couch with these. They are not fastened to the floor. So far so good with a short trip they stayed put just fine.
The first is the old couch and the second is the new
