Same runs all the time while fridge is on, then shuts off when i hit the off button on need to unclip ground.

Either way, the fan mod is great and makes a difference!

Same here papap & ironj. I've had mine for years now and it's worked that way from day one. Power wire to the hot side of the light switch. As you both stated turn the fridge off and the fan goes off as well. No need to disconnect anything.
