Refrigerator vent and bugs / Mud daubers

We have Mud Daubers where we live and keep our trailer. I have already put the screen protector on the heater outlet and installed screen on the vent pipes for the 2 water tanks. Looking around at other areas I see what looks like a very inviting spot for Daubers and any other bugs to come in where the lower refrigerator vent is. I notice on this thread what looks like screen on this vent panel. Was this custom or installed factory? Anybody else done this? Are there kits available, or just roll your own?

Also looking at the vent area for water heater. It looks somewhat more protected but still might do something there. Anyone?

Thanks

There are kits available. I think camco makes them. We have them on Fridge, water heater and furnace. Held on with springs. Work great.

All the insect screen protection items you're looking for are available at Camping World. Make sure you know what brand of heater, furnace, fridge you have when shopping.

Ha, I should have figured Campers World would have it. Thanks all. I'm stopping by Campers World tomorrow. If not in stock I'll hit the internets.

For the refrigerator and the water heater I just took alum screen wire and alum taped it on the inside of the covers. It's still holding tight after 18 months.

For the frig vents we took plastic canvas and cut it out and tied it to the vent with fishing line. $3 at walmart. Of course you could not do this for your furnace or water heater.

I bought the screens for the furnace flue and water heater door and
did much the same as OC in the bottom photo but I used a hot glue
gun instead of duct tape.
In my case it's to try and keep out the #@%&*! lady bugs that flock
to any crevice or tiny opening in the fall.
I'm still finding them in my home and my trailer

After 6 seasons of no problem I found a wasp nest in my trailer bumper
alongside my dump hose this fall. I hot glued a scrap of nylon screen
over the holes in my bumper end caps too.

Thanks for the ideas. I already did the frig but was still noodling on the WH and furnace. I like the easy fixes.
Does anyone have pictures of screening the tank roof vents? Is this a good idea?

Tank vents lead to the tanks.
Bugs in there aren't a problem usually.
I have been known to drain the last of my tanks into a bucket at
home on occasion. I usually find a wasp or 2 floating but they aren't in
any condition to fight by then .

I'm trying to figure out how to screen my roof AC and roof fridge vents
to keep the @#$% lady bugs out and wasps too.

I used a bead of silicone around the edge of the cover and them pressed screening into it. Works & hold great.

I took the cover off and took alum screen wire and covered from the compressor to the condenser on the ac and then covered everything with the alum. bubble insulation like Herk did. So far, everything has worked great. The ac doesn't seem to work a long as it did before in the same temperatures.

No, sorry, it was hot when I did it and didn't take the camera up there with me. I might get up there in the near future and get some.

Was looking for exactly this application. Unfortunately the search tool on FRF is not very selective. That makes it hard to use.
