Remote control light switch

Looking for info and/or advice. I need to come up with a wall switch for the bedroom ceiling light, we hate to crawl up on the bed to turn it off and on. Have searched for routes to run wire to a switch either on the side wall or the wall between the bedroom and back of shower. I haven't arrived at any route that doesn't involve pulling or removing ceiling or wall panels to do this, which is an option I do not want to do (also my war department does not want this to happen.

So I guess what iI am needing is any other ideas and does anyone have any info or experience on a wireless switch. This is also a mod that can't break the bank to do.

This is one of those deals that wouldn't have cost much at the factory and would make TT life a lot more enjoyable.

Thanks

would this work?
Amazon.com: Universal 12 Volt Remote Control Kit: Automotive
or
OutletPC.com - Logisys RM01 Wireless Remote Control 12V Relay Power Switch w/ 2 Remotes
assuming you have 12 volt

I was thinking the same thing - they also make them in 110 as well - my parents had purchased a fan for there house that had a remote control to turn on the lights and the fan which is probably what he will want to do if he doesnt want to tear up walls to run wire.

Wiremold is also an issue. Home depot and Lowes often carry it. they make it in plastic and steel. Plastic has a 2 way tape to hold it ( I advise also adding screws). Comes in different colours. Electrical wholesalers is also a good place to find it (or ask your local electrician)

Shop Wiremold 36" Low Voltage Cord Channel at Lowes.com
