Remove screen door LATCH - Replace it with a magnetic catch

When we leave the exterior door open but want the screen door closed, getting into or out of the MH is very, very cumbersome.

you need to:

1) slide the latch cover open
2) release the latch
3) push the door open
4) slide to cover closed
5) then close the door.

I disabled the latch so it will not hold the screen door closed (It still works to hold the screen door against the exterior door.)

I installed a magnetic catch that holds the screen door closed.

Now when we want in or out, just push (or pull) on the door, and it pops open, no screwing around with the plastic cover or the latch.

NOT - I also installed a couple door handles so we don't have to use that cheesy plastic handle thing that breaks real easy.

I wrote it up and put it on my web site:

It won't do MACH 2, but I can get a sandwich and take a pee.

These work well:

New Screen Door Slide - Available for CC?

Although if you have the "main" door shut, why close the slider over the handle?
