Removed Carpet!

Here we are at the campground and I could not look at the carpet in front of the slide any longer, so we pulled it up and I could not be happier! Yes there are staple holes, I don't know where they thought that foam under layer was going to go, but it looks so much better and bigger.

Sounds great. You wouldn't happen to have before and after pics, would you?

Interesting. I wonder what the purpose of that piece of carpet is? Is it thought to be needed for the slide's smooth operation?

That does look much nicer.

Does your slide work as normal still and is there any chance of it scratching that part of the floor (that used to be covered with carpeting)?

Thanks, we never had any marks from the slide on the carpet, we just layed some paper down and brought the slide in and no marks on paper so I think the floor will be just fine. I'm so happy!

So the linoleum is underneath the section of carpeting you removed? Our slide does leave an impression on the carpet in front of our entertainment center, and the carpet runs from the back wall all the way through to the bedroom in front, so we couldn't just tear it out in front of the slide, as much as I'd love to. I absolutely hate the carpeting.
