Replaced Bathtub
I removed the orig bathtub that had a seat and replaced with one that does not have a seat. This gives us about a 1/3 more foot room in the tub. The new tub is not as deep, so I had to remove the skirt/apron wall and rebuild at a lower height (about 2"). I also found out the the cut out in the floor (under the tub) for the drain trap was not sealed, but open to the top of the holding tank. I found dirt and leaves inside the area. I foam sealed it up before putting in the new tub support base (built larger to support the larger tub floor base).
Because of the new tub height being different than the old, the position of the shower wall alignment had to change, along with the faucet holes. I did a temp cover over the old faucet holes, but I am looking to find a new wall kit soon. Due to framing limitations, I could not move the faucet to reuse the original holes/location. The faucet plumbing connections are accessed thru a removable shelf insert/panel in the pantry on the opposite side of the wall.
FYI: This tub is 24" wide x 32" long. New tub purchased online from RV Parts Country. The orig tub seat was not to accommodate the wheel housing or any other items. The existing duct work and plumbing has enough room to run under the tub base.
