replaced couch

we finally had a good day to replace the couch, last Friday was 32 with a little sun. my friend came over and we took the couch out and replaced it with two recliners. they are way more comfortable and fill the space perfectly. weights are a trade and we don't need the extra bed. today I am going to see if I can find a microwave with more wattage and get that swap done. come on Spring!

We found them at Menard's (its like a Lowe's). Not sure of the brand, but they are very comfortable and micro fiber which we really like. the couch was very uncomfortable. I put the couch in the spare room and gave the bed that was in there to a local charity. should relatives visit they can plug it and blow it up.LOL no seriously should relatives visit I will sleep in the trailer at the local state park.

We pulled the sofa sleeper in ours and replaced it with two home-theater recliners from Kmart. $400 for the pair. They lock together so there are three armrests (1 shared) with cup holders. What a wonderful upgrade.

removed sofa

We removed sofa and dinette booth and added freestanding table and two recliners. Great mod as ours has another sofa in the back. Also removed the bunk over the rear sofa. Sold the sofa and booth.

We nuked the cheap dinette table and chairs and bought 2 small wall hugger recliners and use tv tables for eating. There is even enough room for a table between the the 2 recliners. Best mod so far.

We have a 3 slide V-Lite 30WRLTS Lots of room!!

We purchased what they call petite wall hugger recliners made by Best. They are nice compact and the backs pop off for easy handling. They have a lifetime frame warranty and exception build quality. Both cost us about $825. Recliners | Petite | KHLOE | Best Home Furnishings

We have a 2006 Rockwood Signature Ultralite 8293 That has a queen sleeper sofa and the dinette table w/chairs. We want to switch them because when the sleeper sofa is extended you have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom - it just meets the cabinet by the front door with no floor space. How difficult will this be and will it affect my weights/balance?

replaced couch

LOVE what you folks did! We are actually ok with the furniture, it's just doesn't have the correct placement. How do you keep things from shifting during travel?

Talking relaced couch

We did it! We switched the sofa and table position. Left the table free standing and this weekend is the maiden voyage of the new set up, so we'll see how things work out.
