Replacement furniture

Does anyone know if a furniture store for RV replacement furniture exists anywhere in the United States? We would like to sit in the furniture before we buy any, we want to make sure it is comfortable. We did go to regular furniture stores but it is very hard to find anything that will fit in an RV. So if anyone knows where a store is please let me know. Thanks

Don’t most Camping World stores have furniture? You would not have to purchse through CW but you could try it out ....just a suggestion

I have been at CW stores and have never seen furniture there, unless certain stores have furniture around the US, but I'm not sure which stores would have the furniture. Thanks, I will keep searching.

1. What furniture are you looking to replace?
2. What make/model RV do you have?

This info. will help some of us steer you in the right direction.

We did the same. We looked at the Cindy Crawford Collection at Rooms To Go. My measurements indicated that her sofa/bed would fit in the door and fit the space where the old sleeper was. We also replaced the 2 rocker recliners with the exact theater seating you described which was also available at Rooms To Go.

A sleeper/sofa usually will not come apart so, careful measurements of EVERY angle must me taken and compared to the width & height of your entry door (and anything that may be directly opposite the door like a wall or counter). The theater seating backs will come off and are a lot easier to get in.

I don't know where you are located but, we ended finding a Bassett power theater seat and a queen Sofa/sleeper made by the England Furniture Co (a Lazy Boy Company). Their sofa/sleeper fit better in the space than the Cindy Crawford one would have. We got them from a local? (Myrtle Beach, SC area) furniture place called J&K Home Furnishings (www.jkhomefurnishings.com).

So is this a store a person can go to and sit in the furniture before buying?

We stopped in there during one of our trips to the factory. Their "showroom" is small compared to a regular home furnishing store. It's still "RV" furniture. Maybe a little better quality & quite nicer than original furniture that normally comes in our RV's but..... the options were still very limited.

A "salesman" asked if there was anything he could do for us. We told him what we were looking for. He said, "well take your time & if you have any questions, just ask". He then disappeared into "the back". He never offered any further help or gave us any indication that there was any more to see.

Yes. I got some nice theater seating here, and they installed it.

Yes, the selection is limited, but it is anywhere, since these are RV specific. My requirements were few and simple;
1) Comfortable
2) match interior
3) installed - as I did not want to wrestle with this myself.

The original jackknife couch actually hurt to sit in for any length of time.

Does anyone know who sells the sofa/loveseat recliners which lay flat into a bed? I saw it once, but forgot to bookmark it.

I've been looking at RecPro. Do you have any experience with them? Thanks.

You didn't state where you were located, but run a search of your area for RV furniture, for example: "RV Furniture Oregon"

In western Oregon, we have a number of places, but spent an afternoon trying various theater seats in Countryside RV Interior in Junction City, Oregon: https://www.countrysidervinteriors.com/

This is where we purchased our seats on the day of our visit:

I'd advise against purchasing from Camping World due to their exaggerated prices and crappy service, but as others have stated, they do have a line on display in their showrooms.
