Replacing dinette foam cushions

Plan to replace my cushions with foam from the Foam Factory.

They offer several types.
1. HD36 HQ- 2.8lb/ft3 density w/ 35#ILD
2.Lux Foam HQ- 2.8lb./ft3 density with 50#ILD
3. HD36 Reg.- 2.0 lb./ft3 density w/ 35# ILD
4. Lux Foam Reg.- 2.0 lb./ft3 density with 50#ILD

Has anyone replaced theirs? Which foam do you recommend? I'm 200 lbs. and squash the cushion that came with the TT till its flat
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I had the foam replaced in my TT cushions for the same reason (and I'm your weight also) because the grandkids didn't even like sitting on them. I went with a pretty heavy density, but I don't recall, but after have them for awhile, wish I had went with even a heavier, more solid foam. Wish I could give you the density, but just don't have it available anymore.

For my cushion replacements, I bought Lux Foam - High Quality WITH DACRON WRAP.

If you call or email them, they're super helpful.

DO FOLLOW THEIR MEASURING GUIDELINES. I didn't and had to stuff 7 pounds of potatoes into a 5 pound sack and am paying the price with some split edges because of it.

My cushions have a tag on them with the size. Do you think the Dacron wrap is necessary?

I think the Dacron wrap is supposed to make them more visually appealing and minorly more comfortable. I did it because it seemed like a good idea. Not sure how much better it is or conversely, if I could even tell if I hadn't done it.

I did not get it on the foam blocks for my bunk mattresses, but each of them are being used with the original "mattresses" on top of them.

Thanks ependydad. After looking at their measurement guide, I will re-measure before I order.

I just did ours with the LUX Foam with wrap and followed the measuring instructions and still have a tight fit. I'm scared the seams are going to bust. Time will tell.

Went with the Lux Foam HQ- 2.8lb./ft3 density with 50#ILD
without the wrap. Received them today. Even though I measured I had to trim a little to match the old cushions. Crammed them in the covers and then read I should wait 24-48 hours for foam to fully regain it's shape. Hope I don't go out to a balloon tomorrow! They are much more comfortable though. I didn't tell DW, so I'm just going to wait and see if she can tell the difference. I'm just hoping I won't have to ask her to repair any zippers or seams
