Replacing dinette... wow
Replacing my U shaped dinette with reclining sofa. I've heard stories about poor build quality before, 1st time I've actually seen it for myself. Staples not all the way in, some screws not all the way in, some screws splitting the cheap wood. After taking out every screw, couldnt get table out. Found out that were 2 dang screws(1 on each side) inside the "walls" of the table attached to the trailer wall. Not poor quality there but more of "what the heck?" They could have done that so many different ways but to hide 2 screws inside the wall of the table, lol thanks

Replaced Dinette on MBS Forester with Harrison theater chairs from Lambright. Two recliner love seat with drawer and flip down drink holders. Also had them add their fold away side trays to use instead of table. Ditto on quality and workmanship. You would think that the could afford a vacuum cleaner!! Screws, wood, sawdust and metal shavings everywhere. Cheap materials, some of the screws were stripped, some missed their mark some were bent when put in. Staples not much better.

It's not uncommon for us to have 5 or 6 people around our U Dinette very often, so we enjoy having it. But it was so poorly built.
The luan panel that the back cushion of our U dinette was attached to the wall support piece with only eight 1/4 inch staples above the bench. Meaning only 1/8 of an inch of the staple was holding the panel to the support. I didn't take much use by full grown adults for the panel to break free. The only thing that kept it from splitting was being against the arm of the sofa.
Once we got home, I removed the the staples, replacing them with 3/4 inch wood screws, and attaching a matching cabinet style (saved from my fireplace install) to the wall with Gorilla glue and and color match screws to "sandwich" the panel.

This unit is shipped in three boxes. Each chair is in a box with the back seperate. The console is in a box of it's own. You install each chair base, then the backs and then connect to the console. Very easy.

My unit does not have a slide. The recliner will fully recline. In the reclined position it blocks passage to the rear, but that's not a big deal for us.

Just ordered the Recpro 58” and it’s coming tomorrow. I’m removing my couch and only have 62” with walls on both sides so the parachute cord for recling plus wall hugger will be a much needed item.

You can purchase from RecPro.com. I purchased mine from Amazon, it was $20 higher, as Recpro was charging sales tax and Amazon did not. Amazon really takes care of purchasers and if you have any issues they are on top of it.

Yes you have to use leg pressure to close, but it takes only a lite pressure, not hard at all.
You can get them in motorized model.
