Rockwood Roof Framing

Is anyone familiar with how Rockwood lays out the roof framing on their travel trailers?

I picked-up a 12v, 36" Casablanca style two-speed, reversable ceiling fan for the bedroom ceiling. It weighs about 8 pounds, assembled, and I'd like to tie it into the frame rather than just panel mollys into the inner ceiling skin. I'm presuming that the frame runs around the 16" vent, but is the spacing 16" OC throughout, and if so, does it run side to side or fore to aft?

I tried to use my stud finder on it, but the stud finder has seen better days (it worked MUCH better 20 years ago, when I bought it!). I'll try to p/u a new one this week, but in the meantime, I figured someone on the forum might have the answer.

Hmmmm..... 24 hours later, and 44 people have viewed this, and no one has an answer....

Bought a new stud finder, which is (was) supposed to find wood and "metal", but apparently the manufacturer doesn't consider aluminum a metal, as it will actually find wood and steel! Maybe I'll pull the trim ring off of the roof vent and see what I can see.

Some Rockwoods have no framing in the roof. Yours might be one of them.

How does it support the weight of the AC, snow load, my large frame walking around, or any other imposed load without a frame?

the roof on my Rockwood sig. ultra-lite is constructed of multiple layers of "vacuum bonded" plywood over a foam core. foam is about 4" thick.i believe there is alum framing at the end where the end caps meet the roof. hence it can be walked on safely,but i wouldn't be doing any jumping up and down on it !
ac ducts are cut thru the foam.

When I was fixing a water leak around the skylight in the bathroom on our Mini Lite when I dropped the interior part of the skylight there was no framing - just a hole cut thru the different layers of roofing, insulation & interior paneling. Of course this is located a few inches from outside & rear wall so no strength issue.
