Sabre 32RCTS Rolling Island Wheel Mod

Since owning our Sabre since summer 2012, I've found that the base of the rolling island takes a lot of bouncing while traveling feet down in the rear.
Our bottom panel on island was settling, causing the castor feet difficulty in turning and flipping tabs to lock down I realigned the wood floor, wood screw back in place & placed spacers between wheels.

You can avoid this problem by storing island table top down but way inconvenient when you ise the cabinet for food storage so we choose to store deet down...just be prepared for the island floor adjusting (mostly staples in this area & not screws!)

We had a similiar problem with our center island except the base part broke completely loose on both sides of the front of the cabinet. We ended up having the dealer repair it since we had the unit in for other repairs. They re-inforced it with some stronger material and used screws. As you said, it is a pain to store it upside down so we just make sure it is strapped down good during travel. I'm thinking about adding some sort of blocks under the cabinet during travel to reduce stress on the casters.

Good job on your repair.
