Satellite Dish Install

We own a 2018 FR Arctic Wolf 5th Wheel and want to install a Dish permanently but do not want to mount to the roof. Am considering a over the road truck cab mount but looking for any suggestions and pictures of other ideas with no roof penetration.

Are you dead set on a permanent installation?

Yes, I don't want the site set up and realign all the time.

Why not put it on the roof? I always ask for sites that don’t have trees. DW loves the dish as much as me. I hardly ever watch tv.

You will have to realign every time you move.

That’s what we have is a Trav’ler satellite antenna. When you get to the campground you just push a button and the Trav’ler finds the satellite. We have Direct TV and we take our receiver from home. We don’t have to call anyone, after about twenty minutes or so turn on your receiver and you have satellite tv. DW loves the satellite more than me. Especially if it’s NCIS, I stand no chance with Leroy Jethro Gibbs, when Leroy is on DW doesn’t even know I’m in the room

I had heard how easy it was to install the satellite antenna, I got the antenna on top of the camper and opened the box and found out it was above my pay grade to do the install. Paid someone else to do the install close to four hundred bucks. Had trouble with the dish about twelve months later, Trav’ler sent me another dish and paid 350 bucks for the labor. Well it cost more than that for the install and found out the first man didn’t do the first install correctly. The satellite dish works great now. Some trees the dish can see through a little better, pine trees. Also trees that don’t have leaves
