When you get the trav'ler up on the roof is there a plate there that you remove to install the satellite? Is there wiring there that you hook it to on the roof? Or do you have to cut the hole in the roof? Sounds like problems waiting to happen.

If you're RV is prewired for it get up on the roof and see where the cutout is marked.

The Trav'ler screws down to the roof with about 20 screws. It has to be within like 3 feet of where the wires come out. The wires that came out were 2 coax cables (no ends) and the power lead that runs from the dish to where the power unit is installed.

I used a couple of tubes of dicor when I did my install.

I took a couple of hours installing it because I was in no hurry, wife helped. I took a lot of time making sure I had it positioned correctly before i turned a screw.
