The photo was taken to show the fence post, but you can see the jack just to the left. Front of the trailer is to the right. I centered them up in the middle of the trailer which worked out to be just at the front of the forward axle.

I use an EZ Lift Jack ( screw type), 1 on each side before the wheel and after the wheel on the opposite side. located at the center of the frame rail close to the wheels. I have a machined pvc block attached to the jacks that insure they are located the same every time. The one on the slide side sets between the slides and away from the dump valves and slide mechanisms. They are the last piece installed after everything is level, stabilized and slides are out. About 1 1/2 Turns after contact with frame. Nothing will take all the shake out of a TT except maybe a concrete foundation. I still use the screw type chocks between the wheels. This has worked for me

Doc73 - Thanks for the photo. Does it stick out? Has that been an issue?

Jeff64 - What kind of jack are using? I am also curious about the PVC you mentioned

Thanks

One & a half ton scissors jacks ($19) each from Walmart with a small modified steel plate on top to facilitate frame mounting. Then acquired a solid steel rod from Lowes welded to the small folding handle that comes with each jack so I can stand upright to operate. Two of these in place of the rear stab jacks and two in front of the axles makes a nice companion to the Steadfast system.
