Screen Porch Mod

My screen porch mod is almost complete at the lake. A little more trim, and some stain on the lattice and she's finished. (oh, and nice furniture)

My deck is now about 36-38' long and 8.5' wide. The porch is about 12' x 8.5 feet. I put some carpet in, screened the bottom, and put a corrugated fiberglass roof on it. The white color on the roof makes it nice and bright inside. Won't be long now!

Looks great! I have the corrugated roof on my porch at home and I agree that it lets a great amount of light in. Good choice

Good to hear. I hope they hold up well out there in the Northern woods! Maybe I can get it all done soon.

It's held up for many years at my house although there are really no trees. The only problem with it is it's a bit of a pain to clean off the debris since you can't walk on it, but another plus side is if anything goes wrong with it, it's cheap enough to replace

The porch looks great, are you going to install rope lights around the edge of the roof on the inside for your wild and crazy parties?

Funny you should say that!
I bought 2 strings of white LED rope lights just the other day!
Gotta have some light out there...other than the amber door light.

Wife wants a couple nice wicker rockers out there. Found a nice one at Menards...it's $250 each. OUCH! This is an expensive mod!
