Set back thermostat

I am thinking about installing a set back thermostat on our furnace. We camp late in the fall and some mornings the temp inside the 5er has been low 40's. Would like the furnace to come on about one hour or so before we get out of bed. ( would make the wife happy ) Have any of you installed one and I would like it to be simple to operate and install.
