guess nothing really new to report. I did buy a new residential style toilet but havent installed it yet. the washer AND dryer both kicked the bucket so i sucked it up and bought brand new washer and dryer and now I have to install them lol. They were actually not a bad price!! I found them on Sears website. bout 6-700 a piece which is a HECK of allot cheaper then the 1500/each that the RV dealer was asking!

bit of an update. Installed the new house toilet today! went on like a glove and zero problems! used the existing flange, new bolts from toilet package (was an all in one) and then cut the pex and used a pex "sharkie" adapter to toilet line and hooked her up. wax seal went on no problem, bolted down fine, put the tank on and everything. Only thing I wish the flange had been mounted perfectly straight in line from the wall and not an angle. oh well!

yes I know this is an older thread but this is where it belongs.

Decided the gf and I had the day off so we went to get the material to make a porch for winter this year. $170 in material and my miter saw came in handy. not complete but done for now. just need to find a nice windowed door and it should be done!!

Well not much to update. Passed the three years mark living in this trailer. only 6 more years to pay it off at the low low rate i'm going lol.

havent changed anything, bathroom light over shower gave out due to it not liking moisture. still using the dehumidifier, no problems with battery or converter, gave up using the house stereo...

Park is another story. they went to court to get authorization to put water meters in all the units in the park... good luck putting one in mine. they aint cutting my lines to put one in!

im a few hrs away from the yukon its winter and i have had temps dip down below -36c so far trailer is warm i do have insulted heated waterline to my trailer i have it skirted with a bubble wrap vinyl a heat lamp under the pipes and a heatlamp under where water comes in and a 1500 watt heater as well this is all on a 2013 blue ridge cabin edition 3600rs so far my water has only froze at temperatures of -24c or colder and its the daft idea that the water comes in the rear and has to travel to the front to a heated compartment???????? i dont get it i have techs coming to install a hose connection right at the filter as with a little insulation the filter is luke warm at -30c. key thing there is to use the furnace and not rely on electric heaters u need that heat in the front cabinets! another thing nobody wants to go threw is a frozen fridge and it always happens after a cold snap when it warms up u need to insulate the outside compartment for the fridge and if its real cold a clip on 100 watt light making sure its not touching anything.

biggest freezing problem we had was under the shower there was no air flow and it woudl cool down there and freeze up. solved that with a large 24" wide by 6" tall furnace air return vent put into the wall under the shower door. might see it in my pictures.

we still do use the furnace but we have a 240v construction heater as a backup and helper. power is cheaper then propane!

I read this whole thread and hereby crown you the most diligent, hearty, tough-as-nails living in a camper guys (you and the Stuff) in the whole world! Man, I couldn't live through half of that. I'd be...I quit! Kuddos and keep up posting, esp. picks...it's truly a feat and an enjoyable one to observe.

Yes I know its an old thread but its now a officially dead thread.

The "Villan" is sold. got a new camper that we are only camping in, not living in lol.

wife and I shed a tear as it went bye bye. it was just tooooo big to tow around and with the oil crash, nobody would give us an offer above 10k... So dealership gave us 30k for it towards a new rv!

(and yes the gf turned to wife while we lived full time in an rv!)
