Hey Herk, I only have 2 more on my list and that is add the compartment for the front landing jack switch (Tues) and install the TST tire monitoring system when it comes in tomorrow (Sat pm). Then I guess I will have to start another list.
Mounted mine by drilling 1/2" dia holes thru the inside flanges (top & bottom) of the frame and inserting a pc of 1/2" threaded rod down thru with a spacer between the flanges and a 1"x1" sq. tube with flanges on the bottom. Made a 1-1/2" x 3/4" thk oak spacer on top to ride against the bottom flange of the frame. Put rubber on top & bottom of the vinyl tubes to cushion. Strapped (2) 5' pcs of composite decking on top of the tubes for putting under the wheels in case of soft ground/mud (Not shown). Put end caps on both ends so everything is accessible from either side. Front tube contains driver side sun shade for slideout. Rear tube contains a rain gutter with ends for extra Rhino & misc sewer hose connections. Rear bumper contains a 6' collapsible ladder.
On top, to the left of the spare tire is my homemade tire changing ramp that I hope I NEVER have to use.
