Shamrock 233S inexpensive stereo upgrade

After our first trip out with the 233S we quickly found out the X75 sounds terrible and has poor radio reception. I installed this pioneer head unit($79.99 on sale) directly above the existing unit. I first connected it to the existing speakers and it sounded much better. I received many more radio stations as well. I then decided to install some new Energy 6.5" speakers inside($129). I spread them out to get a better image. Sounds Great! I installed dip switches to control the speakers inside and out independently. The head unit has a fader but I figured this would keep it simple....I left the X75 in place for the DVD component.
