Shelves in the wardrobe

Just installed shelving in the wardrobe of my 21 FRBS. Used 3/8 inch sanded and pre-primed plywood. Tried to match the finish and came pretty close.[ATTACH]56517[ATTACH]

Great job! It looks like it matches pretty well. Do you have any other mods in mind?

Depending on the layout it could be possible. Do you have a corner shower by chance?

Would installing a shower curtain extend rod help? This is when the rod is curved to allow a little extra space away from the shower curtain.

I got a feeling that I will need to let you figure this one out.

Just purchased an extendable rid that I'm hoping will work. On our first trip out I used twine and some clips I just happened to have on hand. I was able to pull the shower curtain out by attaching the other end of the twine to the TP holder. It worked but I don't think it is a permanent solution. I'll post the results of the shower curtain bar.

Based on the twine and clips method the extendable rod might work.

Nice job, we added shelves to our closet as well, used it as a pantry and it worked perfectly.

I saw a video where an owner cut a hula hoop and pushed some PVC tee's on the ends. It was long enough to flex a little when stuck between the two walls of the shower enclosure. The purpose was to set it inside the shower curtain which curved that away from your body. That gives you extra space without having to replace the rod itself.

I want to add shelves to the wardrobe our new 27 rkss. My problem is I don't want to drill any holes but just might have to. Might have to screw in from the bedside wall to the shelf brackets. Anyone else do this?

Perhaps a free-standing shelf unit to fit inside the wardrobe?

The shelf looks great. I would like to do the same for our pantry storage. Any tips on finding studs on a TT and what size screws? I am nervous as a cat thinking about it and making a mistake that can't be undone.

A standard stud finder works well in a camper. And, yeah that FIRST hole you drill is the toughest! After that though, you go drill happy and put all sorts of stuff up LOL

As for shelves in the closet, check out the pre-made assemble yourself one at lowes or Home Depot -we found one that fit our closet like it was made for it!

This is something I've been thinking about doing to our Clipper 17FQ.
Nice jobs on the above posts for sure.
Thanks for posting the pics, gives me some inspiration!
