shelving for entertainment center 2012 puma 31kbh

We just picked up our new camper yesterday. The two doors under the tv unit seem useless and would like to add some shelving. The openings are with of regular cabinet doors but they are not very deep. Any ideas?

Be careful trying to mount shelves to the walls. Not very thick, and make sure you know what is behind there. Had one customer attempt this on a Shasta, and shorted his cable TV wire, to a 110 Volt AC wire. Was a mess to fix, and not under warranty because he caused the damage. If I put shelves in, I would put them on legs, inside the cabinet.

Now with that said, remember, anything sitting on shelf, while traveling, will probably be on the floor when you arrive at your destination. Maybe in one piece, maybe in several.

Not trying to say don't do it, it's your camper, do as you please. Just think it through.

The DH made shelves under our TV. He included a DVD holder, and a lighted micro switch. Check out the pics and if you have any questions ask and he will try to answer them. Congrats on the new unit and enjoy the great outdoors......

We have a puma 30kdb which is same layout as you but we don't have the second slide in the bunk room. I'm thinking of cutting a couple boards to the same size as inside of cabinet and setting them on their own legs that way I don't have to worry about messing anything up and if we need to remove it in the future you won't tell it was there.
