The amp power switch in the wall plate must be on for the antenna to function

The Jack has an internal amp just like the one you have now. If you replace it, you will still need either the wall plate that you have to send it 12v, or the power inserter that comes with the Jack antenna. One or the other, not both.

Remove any amp that you have installed. Leave the wall plate with the switch that came with the RV. Hook your tv to the tv outlet on the wall plate. Push the switch on the wall plate to turn on the power to the amplifier that is built into the antenna. Locate your local TV station transmitter on a map or app and point the antenna in that direction. Go through the TV channel setup.
Good luck

The new and improved digital transmission system is a kludge. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Another government improvement.

So I guess I have an old tv in here but hey it works great! Would have liked the lcd but it sucks , doesn't get any channels in a stable manner. I still find it really weird but oh well

How this is the government's fault?
