Show Us Your Signs
We've seen so many interesting and clever signs during all our years of camping. Let's see what you have!
We purchased this at the Hershey RV Show in 2008.We gave her the FR Georgetown brochure on Friday evening and picked it up on Saturday morning.

I am in no way related or connected with this sign provider, I was just a customer and thought if anyone is looking for a nice sign to consider them. I don't want anyone accusing me of running a business here as stated in an earlier posting.

I would like to go to an RV show and see some suppliers. What we get is a Good Sam booth a KOA booth some person selling pots and pans, somebody selling permanent camping spot for what a Class A costs, and the person selling eyeglass cleaner.
Still that's a neet sign.

No worries Charlie. I for one appreciate when people put links to the products they have used and like, as it makes it much easier to find them without having to do a search myself (even if they cost me lots of money for new porch lights ) It is common on all forums and the individual in question should mind his own "business" as far as I am concerned.
That is a sweet sign and good workmanship on it. We have been thinking about getting one with a mini Dachshund on it that says "caution, death from the ankles down" for our front porch..
Thanks for posting.

That is a classy sign Charlie, and maybe you should consider a business on the side maybe sell them to the members on the FRF and donate some of the proceeds to the Forum, If you like and that way no one has anything to say.....Put me on the list, I will be your first customer......

Seems to be the norm now. The show we went to last week had more non-rv related booths than rv-related. Why do I want to shop for house gutters at an rv show? Why do I want to take out a time share at a HOTEL at an RV show? I told them I carried my own room with me. I guess they pay their money so they can sell whatever they want.

Sorry for the giant size!
This is laser cut, and a beautiful work of art!
I have it at our seasonal site. I made a palm tree, and attached this sign to the trunk. There may be a pic in the gallery...I forget. People like it.

Nice signs, I'm looking for ideas and I like what I see. I would like to make one in the outline of our home state, Minnesota, and put our info on it. Also would like to find a way to light it, and our 20' flag pole.

I made us a sign post of of PVC that I purchased at my friendly Lowes' Store. Total cost was under $30.00. I had seen some at different campgrounds with electrical cords to the light. I just purchased a small solar light, cut off the base about six inches. It inserts in the top of the sign, easily removed and stored. I used a comode mounting flange as the base of it, drilled four holes so I can use tent stakes to fasten it down. I also made a base out of a 2 x 8 that I can put under the tongue if we want to use it at the front of the trailer.

We had one like this when I was a kid, so I kept the tradition going.

Gatlinburg Sign Co. Any state in the Union. Get you a solar yard sign at Wally or Lowe's--the one that pivots and aim it at your sign. Will get a pic of mine this weekend and ATTEMPT to post it. Steve

We asked him to make us one....it uses the commode flange at the bottom like someone else mentioned. In TX we pounded the tent stakes into the ground and when we got ready to leave there was NO way those stakes were coming out of the ground (large ones with the green plastic tops).! We had to break the 4 inch PVC out of the flange and leave it there! I mean there was NO way...we used various sized hammers, claw hammer, rubber hammer...those stakes were NOT coming out and we couldn't even tear off those green plastic tops to enable the rotation to be able to lift it out of the slots. *Hated* leaving it there as we always leave a "clean space"..nothing left behind.
New flange bottom now... using the smaller heavy wire type tent stakes...flange has slots so if we can't get the stakes out of the ground we can rotate the base and lift it out of the stakes.
Oh, btw, ours is black. Painted the PVC to match the metal lantern on top.
Lesson learned!
...got pics here somewhere on my phone...need to post up one or two I guess.
Our lamp is electric...wish I could find a solar powered one.
I use the candle flicker type bulbs. Looks neat at night.

Similar to a sign already posted. I bought mine at an art show many years ago. It's hooked a garden ornament that I found on clearance. Sadly, it's near the dog prison.
