Shower caulking

In my 2020 Geo Pro the shower surround in the bathroom is nicely caulked along the top and down both sides, but there is no caulking along the bottom that butts up to the tub/shower bottom. Before I caulk it I thought Iíd check if anyone knows a reason that Rockwood didnít do it, or that it shouldnít be caulked. Thanks

In my TT the side panel overlaps the shower tray at the bottom (top edge of the shower tray is under the bottom of the side panel). I don't know if there is caulking inside that I can't see though, but there is none visible at the tray in the shower. Like yours, the top and sides have visible caulk.

That is open for air circulation behind the walls as I was told by a Tech.

Thanks all. Guess that does make sense to allow for circulation.

During my PDI of my 2020 Geo Pro, it was noted the sloppy caulking job done between tub and wall seam. I had the option to have it removed only or removed and done properly. The tech was able to see from the side after pulling it back, that the tub lip does not come up as high as other traditional RV tubs and recommended the re-caulking which I agreed.
