Shower head question

Not sure where to post this. I want to modify or replace the on/off button on the shower so there's not a trickle when off. Anyone know what I'm trying to do?

I would work the button back and forth several(dozen) times to see if it just needs broken in or replace it with one of these.

I believe that some by design do not shut off entirely to lessen the temperature change when you turn it back on.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your not allowed to have a 100% shut-off. The gov't outlawed those several years ago, after too many slip and fall lawyers sued to line their greedy pockets.

I know some might chim in and disagree, but this very topic has been discussed here to exhaustion, in a seperate thread some time back. So you can seach it to view the discussion.

I know what you are trying to do... any hardware store, amazon.. whatever your poisin will have an inline shower shut-off/water flow valve. Just screw on in between your shower head and hose, or water outlet and hose. 100% shut off. Expect to pay anywhere from $3-$10. Just a tip.. try to find one with a decent lever or knob that will be comfortable to operate with soapy hands.

We have the "Positive Shower Shut-Off" shown on this page.

I tried several from both the RV and hardware stores and none would shut off the water completely. The one on the page I linked to will, and you just screw it between your hose and the bottom of your shower head.
Its cheap and works great.

Thanks for the link! I guess I just got lucky with my $8 one from Amazon, but have been thinking about picking up another for the portable.

Your welcome, I forgot to mention we also have the Shower Head on the same page and like it as well. Much nicer than the factory version and not as large as the Oxygenics.
